The AUTOGRAPH facial begins with a skin consultation. During this, our skin specialist in Norwich will discuss your concerns, lifestyle habits and current skincare regime, and if you do not have one, do not fear, we will create one perfect for you creating a sample pack for you to take home and try before deciding.

We then advise on the most suitable treatment combination to ensure you understand and are happy with what to expect during and after the facial treatment.

During the treatment, you will lie comfortably on the treatment couch.

Your skin will be cleansed with a range of mild medical-grade skincare products. This will ensure that the skin is prepped, clean and bacteria-free.

Here you have the chance to relax, either by listening to some calming music, a personalised hypnotherapy relaxation audio or mindful meditation audio; this depends on your wishes of how to start your relaxing, self-love and rejuvenating facial. Once the skin is prepped the unique facial will begin; this, again, will be unique to your concerns.

Immediately afterwards, your skin may be warm, pink, and slightly sensitive. Once you and your skin are comfortable and ready, a light moisturiser and SPF will be applied, and the treatment will be completed.

How it works:

The facial will, in most cases, begin with a chemical resurfacing treatment with a specific acid to meet your concerns.

Lauren will start by preparing the skin, to ensure it is free from makeup and bacteria. She will then place our dome-like medical-grade Celluma LED device over your skin. This LED light will pulse with a combination of red and blue light diodes.

Your skin will absorb this powerful LED light, which energises the fibroblast cells in the dermis; the cells become energised, produce collagen, increase elasticity and hyaluronic acid, and accelerate healing. Our LED light uses different wavelengths, which work on different mechanisms within the cells.

Unlike other standard LED devices, the Celluma regulates oil production, calms melanocyte cells (where pigmentation is present), kills bacteria and creates up to 200% more cell rejuvenation within 48 hrs. The process can be described as a warm, tingling feeling, which leaves the skin with an instant pink appearance.

After the LED facial, your skin will be energised, warm and glowing, ready for the following steps to begin.

Now your skin is energised Lauren will apply layer of a pHformula resurfacing acid specifically combined for your skin type and concern, the application will begin at the forehead and working around your face down to your chin area.

You will experience a warm, tingling sensation for 1-2 minutes after applying the solution; this will work its magic on your skin for up to 10 minutes. This will stimulate skin cells and speed up skin cell renewal prepping your skin for the next steps. Once the resurfacing acid is removed, Lauren will continue with the combined several treatments, this may involve microneedling in Norwich, Mesotherapy, dermaplaning, and chemical resurfacing, depending on your skin’s needs.

Pre and post care

Before your appointment
Do:
  • Attend free of makeup and self-tan if you are attending for treatment on the face
  • Please remove all the above PRIOR to arriving at the clinic; it is essential to allow us to complete the treatment
  • Drink plenty of water to keep the skin hydrated
  • Shower/bathe pre-treatment
  • Apply sunscreen with an SPF of 30-50 days, except for the day of your appointment
  • Please let the specialist know of any changes in medications and your health
Don't:
  • Use any of the following products/ingredients in the area: topical retinoids and tretinoin (including Retin-A, Renova, Differin, Tazorac, and Refissa)
  • Other topical acids or exfoliants that may be drying or irritating to the skin (such as alpha hydroxyl acids [AHAs], beta hydroxyl acids [BHAs], exfoliating masks, retinol, benzoyl peroxide) for 72 prior to the treatment
  • Expose the area to the sun or sun tanning beds for 72 hours
after your appointment
Do:
  • Drink a minimum of 1 litre of water to keep the skin hydrated
  • Apply sunscreen with an SPF of factor 30-50
Don't:
  • Use any of the following products/ingredients in the area: topical retinoids and tretinoin (including Retin-A, Renova, Differin, Tazorac, and Refissa)
  • Other topical acids or exfoliants that may be drying or irritating to the skin (such as alpha hydroxyl acids [AHAs], beta hydroxyl acids [BHAs], exfoliating masks, retinol, benzoyl peroxide) for 72 hours post-treatment
  • Expose the area to the sun or sun tanning beds for 48-72 hours post-treatment
  • Use steam rooms, saunas, hot baths, showers and heavy exercise for 24-48 hours

The post-treatment response will vary from client to client, depending on the size and type of treatment and the skin’s sensitivity.

You may experience some symptoms post-treatment; these may include:

• Erythema (redness)
• Slight swelling
• Dry areas of the skin
• Irritation may be present.
