What to expect at your Cryolipolysis Targeted Fat Freezing appointment

The appointment will begin with a person consultation; this will allow us to view the area of concern and discuss lifestyle, habits and your expectation of the treatment. An individual treatment plan will be created and discussed in full detail, along with the pre and post-care.

Images, measurements and your current weight will be recorded to allow us to track your progress together and to create your fat freeze before and after images. We appreciate for many that the thought of being weighed and measured can be daunting; please remember, this is what we do best, and you will be made to feel comfortable and at ease through the whole treatment.

You will lie comfortably on the treatment couch with the area of concern exposed; a cool membrane sheet will be applied to the area to ensure the area remains cool and comfortable. The Fat Freeze cup/cups will be placed over the fat pocket. The cup will suck up the pocket of fat, gradually freezing the area to between -7 and -9 degrees; during this process, you may feel a slight suction pressure and pains and needles in the area as it slowly freezes.

Human fat freezes from -1°C while the Cryolipolysis handpiece reaches 0°C to -10°C.

The vacuum in the handpiece pulls the pocket of fat into the head, and the plates inside the head freeze the area down to the selected temperature.
