Both Nu-Derm Systems can penetrate below the surface of your skin: to transform skin cell functions at the cellular level and correct the damage within.

How long do the products have to be used for?

We usually recommend Obagi Nu-Derm until you have achieved your desired results. Each clients skin is individual and will react differently at each stage; some concerns such as pigmentation, build up over time, and take more time to break down.

Following a skin therapy consultation and the use of the recommended skincare, we encourage you to keep in touch via email/telephone. Also, to attend the clinic for reviews at a personally recommended duration so that we can ensure that the dosage and frequency is correct for you. We advise between 6-18 weeks of applying the Obagi Nu-Derm regime. Following this, a maintenance regime will be recommended to maintain the results that we have achieved.

What side effects can be expected whilst using Obagi Nu-Derm?

During the first few weeks of using Obagi Nu-derm, you should expect your skin to flake, peel and appear slightly pink: this phase is called ‘Out with the Old’.

During the second phase, ‘In with the New’ you will find your skin will reach a tolerance to the System, and the flaking should begin to subside.

In the third phase, ‘the Healthy Glow’ collagen and elastin are increasing in production. Your skin will improve; uneven skin tone and pigmentation will begin to even out.

The fourth phase, ‘The New You’ Obagi Nu-derm will help maintain the results achieved with this comprehensive regime.
